Domenico Pinto
PRINCIPAL AND COACH

About Domenico
He has spent more than 3 years working as a conference director, being responsible for a business improvement portfolio, servicing industries like: Banking and Financial Services, Public Sector, Utilities, Telecommunications, Mining, Education and many more. During that time, he had the opportunity to connect, network and ultimately learn from leading national and international thought leaders.
His entrepreneurial mindset and curios nature allow him to challenge the status quo and push boundaries to discover what gives individuals and organisations the ‘Edge’.
After spending most of his career analysing, understanding and learning what makes organisations successful, he became a full-time coach in 2015. Focusing exclusively on helping organisation to rapidly transform their business and become truly employee and customer-centric. A public speaker and thought leader, presenting and facilitating regularly at leading conferences across Australia.
When he is not working he enjoys following sports of all kinds, playing football, cycling, traveling and socialising with people from all backgrounds and cultures. Ideally over a meal and maybe a glass of wine or two…

Domenico’s Story
In my time spent as a Conference Director as well as coaching I came to realise how many times, we are hostages of our own doing. We often send people to expensive courses, workshops or conferences, only for them to come back into the business with a wealth of ideas and knowledge. Ideas that could help the business succeed.
Unfortunately, whilst we do that, we fail to create environments for these same employees to be able to put them into practice. We like to call them ‘lone dancers’. It goes without saying that you can’t build a strong house without strong foundations.
Once I realised the most important thing, I couldn’t just look out of the window and wait for others to develop the culture. I decided to be the change I wanted to see and got on my own journey to become a Blue Bus Coach!
I discovered the Blue Bus in 2013, when the I was working on a portfolio of Business Improvement events and a few professionals were doing something different, I loved that creativity and the concept of a common language to challenge the status quo.
Pretty soon it became obvious to me that I wanted to join the Blue Bus (R)evolution and when the opportunity came along, I jumped right on it and haven’t looked back since.
I am passionate about helping individuals and organisation deliver superior experiences to employees and customers. I love volunteering. Whenever I can, I try to support not for profits and social enterprises as much as I can. I am a firm advocate of diversity and an opponent of any form of discrimination, be it gender, race, believes, etc… I am particularly proud of the fact that by being a Blue Bus Coach I can spend part of my time doing that.
